We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Sourcing Officer
Location: Ogba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure mechanical and electrical engineering materials, tools, equipment, and services
- Identify and evaluate reliable vendors and suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines
- Obtain and compare quotations to ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers
- Monitor inventory needs and coordinate timely replenishment of stock
- Ensure all procured items meet required technical specifications and quality standards
- Track purchase orders and follow up on deliveries to ensure prompt receipt
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier database, and sourcing reports
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams to support project needs
- Monitor market prices and sourcing trends to optimize procurement costs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain roles, preferably within engineering, construction, or industrial sectors
- Relevant procurement certification (e.g., CIPS, CIPSMN) is an added advantage.
Salary & Benefits
- N200,000 – N250,000 (Monthly Gross)
- 13th Month Salary
